Who we are
The Green Lake Watch is a volunteer organization where residents volunteer to walk in teams reporting what they see to Seattle Police and creating a visual deterrent to crime. As well as identifying people in crisis and those with mental health issues to help connect them with the resources they need.

We also have several volunteers who are former military and security personnel who are trained and will be providing a uniformed armed patrol.
In light of the problems with policing today, we are working towards a way for the community to build a connection with the Police department in order to have the accountability, transparency and understanding needed in reforming a very broken system and preventing more senseless tragedies.
If you have any questions or live / work in the area and can volunteer a bit of your time, you can sign up on the volunteer page. (Free training will be provided to all volunteers.)

We also have a Gofundme to help with things such as protective equipment, radios, uniforms, etc..
